Rep. Solomon Adesanya Elected House Minority Caucus Treasurer

ATLANTA – The Georgia House Democratic Caucus elected State Representative Solomon Adesanya (D-Marietta) as the House Minority Caucus Treasurer for the 2025-2026 legislative term during caucus elections on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

“I am looking forward to serving our caucus as the Minority Treasurer and am grateful for my colleagues’ support,” said Rep. Adesanya. “During the new legislative term, I know that our caucus will work to ensure that Georgia moves forward, and we will strive to ensure that our state is a fairer and more just place for its citizens. With our strong leadership team and the support of our members, we will deliver positive results and solutions for our constituents back home.”

In this position, Rep. Solomon Adesanya (D-Marietta) will be responsible for all Minority Caucus funds.

This will be Rep. Adesanya’s second term in the Georgia House of Representatives and his first full term as Minority Caucus Treasurer.

Representative Solomon Adesanya currently represents the citizens of District 43, which includes portions of Cobb County. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2022 and currently serves on the Economic Development & Tourism, Intragovernmental Coordination and Small Business Development committees.
