ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) recently named State Representative Taylor Bennett (D-Brookhaven) to the Budget and Fiscal Affairs Oversight, Judiciary and Small Business Development committees. Rep. Bennett was sworn in to the Georgia House of Representatives on August 27, 2015.
“I am very pleased and excited to have been assigned to the Budget and Fiscal Affairs, Judiciary and Small Business Development committees,” said Rep. Bennett. “I look forward to the opportunity to help our government operate more efficiently and responsibly, to ensure that our legal system best serves the interests of our citizens, and to help small businesses start, grow, and thrive. Representative Taylor Bennett represents the citizens of District 80, which includes portions of DeKalb and Fulton counties. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2015, and currently serves on the Budget & Fiscal Affairs Oversight, Judiciary, and Small Business Development committees.
