ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently reappointed State Representative Todd Jones (R-South Forsyth) as the Chairman of the House Technology and Infrastructure Innovation Committee.
“I am grateful to the Committee on Assignments and Speaker Burns for their confidence in me to serve another term as Chairman of the Technology and Infrastructure Innovation Committee,” said Rep. Jones. “I am eager to focus on legislation related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution with technologies like autonomous vehicles, air taxis, 3D printing, artificial intelligence and more. As technology advances, it’s important that we work to keep Georgia’s code in line with these advancements and that we are well-equipped to handle the ever-changing world of technology.”
The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.
The Technology & Infrastructure Innovation Committee works on issues involving new and emerging technologies and their implications for Georgia’s economy.

Representative Todd Jones represents the citizens of District 25, which includes portions of Forsyth and Fulton counties. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 and currently serves as Chairman of the Technology and Infrastructure Innovation Committee. He also serves on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, Education, Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications, Health, Judiciary and Ways and Means committees, as well as the Special Committee on Resource Management.
