ATLANTA – State Representative Tonya Anderson (D-Lithonia) recently participated in the MouthMobile community-giving event at the Georgia State Capitol. The event, hosted by Aspen Dental in conjunction with the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO), provided free dental care to veterans on Tuesday, September 8.
“Attending the Aspen Dental event was a rewarding and fulfilling experience,” said Rep. Anderson. “Our veterans give so selflessly, and it is inspiring to see those who simply want to give back to them however they can.”
The MouthMobile community-giving event is part of Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement, which was established in 2014 to bring free dental care and oral education to communities in need across the nation. In its inaugural year, the MouthMobile provided dental care to almost 3,000 individuals in 30 states. In partnering with the VEO for the 2015 tour, Aspen Dental will now provide free dental care to veterans at 28 stops in 21 different states, including its stop in Georgia.
