ATLANTA- Last week Representative Charlice Byrd (R- Woodstock) was elected Chairman of the Cherokee County Delegation. As Chairman, she will lead the delegation in all issues directly effecting Cherokee County.
“I am honored to be named Chairman of the Cherokee County Delegation,” said Rep. Byrd. “As metro Atlanta continues to grow, our county is increasingly feeling the strains of a rapidly growing community. I will work with my fellow representatives to help Cherokee County address these issues.”
The Cherokee County Delegation is made up of Representatives Charlice Byrd, Calvin Hill (R-Canton), Sean Jerguson (R-Cherokee), and Mark Hamilton (R-Cumming) and Senators Chip Rogers and Jack Murphy. This delegation will work together to pass legislation that will benefit Cherokee County.
