ATLANTA— State Representative Steve Davis (R- McDonough) was elected to the Henry County Farm Bureau Board of Directors at the organization’s most recent monthly meeting. Davis has been affiliated with the Henry County Farm Bureau since 1998.
“I am deeply honored to be elected to the Henry County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and will continue to work on behalf of agriculture issues for my constituents,” said Representative Davis. “As our community grows we should ensure that our member farmers and agricultural related companies have adequate resources to provide the essential goods and services that our citizenry so vitally need.”
The Henry County Farm Bureau has nearly 8,000 members. It compromises one of the 159 county Farm Bureau organizations within the Georgia Farm Bureau Federation – the largest farm organization in Georgia. These organizations work together as to provide leadership and assistance to the agricultural community.
“We are delighted to have Rep. Davis on our board. He has been an invaluable voice on agricultural and natural resource issues both locally and at the state House,” said Henry County Farm Bureau President Jack Elkins.

Representative Steve Davis represents the citizens of District 109, which includes portions of Henry County. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2004, and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the State Planning & Community Affairs Committee. He also serves on the Insurance, State Institutions & Property, and Transportation Committees.
