ATLANTA — The Georgia House of Representatives yesterday passed SB 519 by a vote of 147-2. Carried in the House by state Representative Barbara Sims (R-Augusta), the legislation sets safety feature requirements for golf carts and other “electric low speed vehicles” if local governments allow operation of these vehicles after sunset.
