ATLANTA – State Representative Joseph Gullett (R-Dallas), chairman of the House Appropriations Judicial Subcommittee, recently hosted his second constituent service hours event of the summer on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Boots Ward Recreation Center in West Cobb, Ga. Rep. Speaker Jon Burns Announces Appointments to 2025 House Study Committees

ATLANTA – Today, House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) announced appointments to the Georgia House of Representatives’ 2025 study committees. These committees will meet throughout the interim, hear from experts, stakeholders and the public and compile a report of specific findings or legislative recommendations ahead of the 2026 legislative session.
