ATLANTA – State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah) will serve as a keynote speaker on the following dates and times:

  • Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Grace Deliverance Church of Christ in Savannah;
  • Black History Month Address on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at Atlanta City Hall;
  • Sixth Annual Weeping Time African Unity Festival on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Water Works Plaza in Savannah.

Rep. Carl Gilliard to Host Gullah Geechee Heritage Day at the State Capitol

ATLANTA – State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah), joined by members of the Gullah Geechee Heritage Society, will host Gullah Geechee Heritage Day in celebration of the adoption of House Resolution 625 TOMORROW, Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 12 p.m. in room 230 of the Georgia State Capitol.
