ATLANTA – State Representative Eddie Lumsden (R-Armuchee), chairman of the House Insurance Committee, applauds the recent General Operating Support Grant funding that was awarded to Paradise Garden Foundation Inc. in Chattooga County. The Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA), a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, recently announced a $10,000 grant for this organization as a part of its General Operating Support, Project and Arts Education Program grants.

Speaker Jon Burns Announces Appointments to 2025 House Study Committees

Rep. Eddie Lumsden Announces Funding for Tooga Theater in Summerville

ATLANTA – State Representative Eddie Lumsden (R-Armuchee), chairman of the House Insurance Committee, announces that Tooga Theater in Summerville, Georgia has been awarded a one-time grant of $250,000 allocated under House Bill 915, the Amended Fiscal Year 2024 budget. These Special Project funds are awarded through the Georgia Council for the Arts, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development charged with empowering the arts industry in Georgia and artists around the state to cultivate healthy, vibrant communities that are rich in civic participation, cultural experiences and economic prosperity.
