ATLANTA – State Representative Eric Bell (D-Jonesboro) celebrates the recent decision by the House Special Rules Committee to schedule a hearing for House Bill 1013, bipartisan legislation that would designate lemon pepper as the State of Georgia’s official chicken wing flavor. The bill is scheduled for a hearing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2 p.m. in room 415 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building. ATLANTA – State Representative Eric Bell (D-Jonesboro) recently introduced House Bill 1103, legislation that would establish a Happy Highways Grant program to support the creation of murals along Georgia’s highway system. The Happy Highways Grant program would award one-time grants to participating counties for murals to promote tourism and support roadside enhancement and beautification efforts.
