Rep. Greg Morris Appointed to Capitol Arts Standards Commission Monument Committee
ATLANTA — House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) recently announced the appointment of State Representative Greg Morris (R-Vidalia) to the Capitol Arts Standards Commission Monument Committee. The Capitol Arts Standards Commission Monument Committee was created as a part of House Bill 702, sponsored by Rep. Morris during the 2014 legislative session, which calls for the placement of a monument depicting the Ten Commandments, Preamble to the state Constitution, and a portion of the Declaration of Independence on the grounds of the State Capitol.
