Clark is pre-filing this legislation based on concerns and issues that were brought to her attention during the state’s most recent runoff election.

ATLANTA – State Representative Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn) will host a virtual town hall on the impact of monkeypox in Gwinnett County Public Schools TOMORROW, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 7 p.m. via Facebook Live and Zoom. “On Monday of this week, it was reported that there was a case of monkeypox in a Gwinnett County school, and close contact letters were sent home by the school,” said Rep. Clark. “This undoubtedly left the community with many questions. I am looking forward to hosting this event with Dr. Arona to discuss what this news means and answer questions that community members may have about the virus.”
