Rep. Waites to Re-Introduce Poker Room Legislation

ATLANTA— State Representative Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta) will re-introduce the “Casino Poker Room” bill during the 2017 legislative session of the Georgia General Assembly. Originally introduced during the 2015 session, this legislation would create a referendum allowing voters to decide on the legalization of poker rooms in select entertainment districts in Georgia. Rep. Waites to Re-Introduce Legislation Requiring Firearm Safety Training

ATLANTA – State Representative Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta) recently pre-filed House Bill 11 for the upcoming 2017 legislative session, legislation that would require new Georgia applicants to complete firearms safety training in order to apply for a weapons carry license.
