Rep. Marvin Lim Develops New Law Enforcement Training on Multicultural Community Policing

ATLANTA – State Representative Marvin Lim (D-Norcross) has developed a new training course with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) to improve how Georgia peace officers interact with multicultural communities. The new GPSTC “Cultural Adeptness in Law Enforcement” course is offered as a Governor’s Initiative online course.

Georgia Legislators Announce Creation of First Formal Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander Caucus

ATLANTA – Members of the Georgia General Assembly today announced the creation of the first formal Georgia Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Caucus. Starting in 2023, Georgia will have the most AAPI legislators of any state legislature in the nation.
