Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Specialty License Plate Bill Signed into Law by Governor Kemp

ATLANTA – Governor Brian Kemp recently signed House Bill 208 into law, legislation creating several specialty license plates, including a license plate honoring Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This specialty license plate seeks to honor the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and support community-based programs and initiatives throughout the state of Georgia.

State Legislators Introduce Resolution for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Day at State Capitol

ATLANTA – State Representatives Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain), Rhonda Burnough (D-Riverdale), Sheila Jones (D-Atlanta), Edna Jackson (D-Savannah), Mekyah McQueen (D-Smyrna) and Terry Cummings (D-Mableton) recently introduced House Resolution 401, which recognizes Monday, March 3, 2025, as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Day, also known as “Delta Day” at the Capitol. City of South Fulton Legislative Delegation Elects Members for 2025-2026 Term, Rep. Debra Bazemore Elected Chair

ATLANTA – State Representative Debra Bazemore (D-South Fulton), along with members of the City of South Fulton Legislative Delegation, recently met to elect its delegation members for the 2025-2026 legislative term. Rep. Bazemore was elected Chair of the delegation and State Representative Robert Dawson (D-Atlanta) was selected Secretary.
