ATLANTA –  Members of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus (GLBC), Legislative Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) and Hispanic Legislative caucuses will host the second tri-caucus town hall on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Peachy Corners Cafe in Peachtree Corners.

Rep. Michelle Au to Launch Listening Tour Across House District 50

ATLANTA – State Representative Michelle Au (D-Johns Creek) today announced that she is launching a comprehensive listening tour across House District 50, which includes the city of Johns Creek and a portion of Alpharetta, aimed at fostering conversations with constituents. Titled “Conversations with Representative Dr. Michelle Au,” this initiative seeks to underscore Rep. Au’s commitment to understanding the diverse needs and aspirations of the communities she serves. The first event will take place on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Divine Coffee in Johns Creek.

Speaker Jon Burns Announces Appointments to House Study Committee on Alternatives to Opioids for Pain Management

ATLANTA – Today, Speaker of the House Jon Burns (R-Newington) announced the members of the House Study Committee on Alternatives to Opioids for Pain Management. This committee was created by legislation adopted during the 2024 session of the Georgia General Assembly.
