TODAY: Reps. Jasmine Clark, Park Cannon and Metro Atlanta Leaders to Hold Press Conference Calling for Immediate and Permanent Closure of Conyers BioLab Following Chemical Fire

ATLANTA – State Representatives Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn) and Park Cannon (D-Atlanta), Secretary of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, along with other Metro Atlanta leaders, will hold a press conference TODAY, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. on the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta. TOMORROW: Georgia House Democratic Caucus to Affirm Decision of Fulton County Superior Court Overturning Six-Week Abortion Law and Upholding Georgians’ Constitutional Rights to Privacy  

ATLANTA – State Representative Park Cannon (D-Atlanta), Secretary of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus (GHDC), and members of the GHDC will host a press conference to applaud the recent Fulton County Superior Courts’ order, which ruled that abortion regulations must revert to pre-2019 standards, restoring pregnant Georgians’ ability to obtain needed abortion care until approximately 22 weeks gestation, TOMORROW, Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. on the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.
