ATLANTA – State Representative Saira Draper (D-Atlanta) today was appointed by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) to serve as a member on the House Regulated Industries Committee for the remainder of the 2025-2026 term. Rep. Draper was appointed to the Regulated Industries Committee due to a vacancy on the committee left by former Representative Shelly Hutchinson, who resigned earlier this year.

The roundtable will be held from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in room 216 of the Georgia State Capitol, followed by the press conference from 12 – 1 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Capitol in Atlanta.
