ATLANTA – State Representative Steven Sainz (R-St. Marys) seeks to provide citizens with guidance on Senate Bill 319, the Georgia Constitutional Carry Act of 2021. Signed into law on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, SB 319 repeals the requirement for a weapons carry license for those who are eligible to possess and carry a firearm.

Rep. Steven Sainz Announces OneGeorgia Authority Grant Funding to Convert St. Marys Airport Into Industrial Park
ATLANTA – State Representative Steven Sainz (R-St. Marys) today announced that the OneGeorgia Authority recently approved $2,348,293 in Rural Innovation Grant funding to help convert a former St. Marys airport into an industrial park. Rep. Sainz previously submitted a letter to the Camden County Joint Development Authority (JDA) expressing his support for this grant funding proposal.
Rep. Steven Sainz Named to Leadership Positions on House Governmental Affairs
ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments recently named State Representative Steven Sainz (R-Woodbine) as the Vice Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee. Rep. Sainz was also appointed as the Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Subcommittee for General Government.
