Rep. Trey Kelley Announces State Funding for Cedartown Sara Hightower Library Renovations

ATLANTA – State Representative Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) today announced that $575,000 is included in the House’s version of the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY 2024) budget for renovations to the Cedartown Public Library. Yesterday, the Georgia House of Representatives passed House Bill 19, or the FY 2024 budget, and this legislation has now been sent to the Senate for its consideration.

Rep. John LaHood Appointed to Majority Caucus Whip Team for 2021-2022 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – State Representative John LaHood (R-Valdosta) was recently appointed to serve as a member of the House Majority Caucus Whip Team. Rep. LaHood was appointed to serve on the whip team by House Majority Whip Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown), and his appointment is for a two-year term concurrent with his service as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives.
