ATLANTA – State Representatives Sandra G. Scott (D-Rex), Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain) and Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta) recently sent a joint letter to Georgia’s congressional delegation urging immediate action to fully fund three critical federal programs: the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Specialty License Plate Bill Signed into Law by Governor Kemp

ATLANTA – Governor Brian Kemp recently signed House Bill 208 into law, legislation creating several specialty license plates, including a license plate honoring Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This specialty license plate seeks to honor the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and support community-based programs and initiatives throughout the state of Georgia.
