ATLANTA – State Representatives John Carson (R-Marietta) and Esther Panitch (D-Sandy Springs), along with numerous groups representing the Jewish community in Georgia, will hold a press conference to discuss House Bill 30 TOMORROW, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 12 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
Under HB 30, the Official Code of Georgia would adopt the internationally recognized definition for “antisemitism” as adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) on May 26, 2016. HB 30 passed out of House Judiciary Committee this afternoon with wide bipartisan support.
