ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) has appointed the following members to the House Study Committee on Adult Day Services:
- Rep. Valerie Clark (R-Lawrenceville)
- Rep. Tommy Benton (R-Jefferson)
- Rep. Spencer Frye (D-Athens)
The Speaker also appointed the following individuals to the study committee:
- Ms. Yvonne Boose – Consumer Appointee
- Ms. Jackie Immel – Operator Appointee
This study committee is established by House Resolution 618 and will study the changing landscape of adult day centers to ensure effective service to adults who need supervised care in a safe place outside the home during the day.
