ATLANTA — Speaker of the House David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) has appointed the following members to the House Study Committee on Provision of Community Based Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) services, including the NOW/COMP Medicaid Waiver Services:
- Rep. Dusty Hightower (R-Carrollton), Chairman
- Rep. Buddy Harden (R-Cordele)
- Rep. Jesse Petrea (R-Savannah)
The Speaker also appointed the following individuals to the study committee:
- Ms. Tena Blakely, Agency Director – Soto ALG, Inc.
- Ms. Tonya Allen, Director – Mineral Springs Center, Inc.
This study committee is established by House Resolution 767 and will study how best to provide a seamless community based services system to address the varied and often complex needs of Georgia’s citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
