Lawson is veteran communications strategist and winning advocate
ATLANTA – Today, Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) announced the hire of veteran communications strategist Stephen Lawson as Senior Advisor for Communications within his office. Lawson has extensive experience in political, government and policy arenas helping advocate for and execute winning messages across the spectrum. In this role, he will oversee all external communication, media relations and strategic messaging for Speaker Burns.

Lawson has previously worked for Florida Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis, as well as U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper, Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones and Congressman Mike Collins.
