ATLANTA – Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today announced new chairmen of several committees of the Georgia House of Representatives. These leadership positions had become vacant due to resignations or reassignments since the 2017 session of the General Assembly adjourned in March. The new chairmen are:
- Code Revision Committee: Rep. Timothy Barr (R-Lawrenceville)
- Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government: Rep. Chad Nimmer (R-Blackshear)
- Industry & Labor Committee: Rep. Bill Werkheiser (R-Glennville)
- Small Business Development Committee: Rep. Sam Watson (R-Moultrie)
