ATLANTA – State Representative Matt Reeves (R-Duluth) was recently awarded the “2026 Legislative Perseverance Award for Advocacy and Passage of House Bill 304” from the Council of Municipal Court Judges. House Bill 304, legislation co-sponsored by Rep. Reeves and signed into law in May 2026, creates the Office of Senior Municipal Court Judge and Georgia Municipal Court Clerks’ Council.

ATLANTA – State Representative Matt Reeves (R-Duluth) today applauds Governor Brian Kemp for signing House Bill 1344, the “Georgia Insurance Affordability and Claims Integrity Act,” into law. Sponsored by Rep. Reeves during the 2026 legislative session, the legislation was a priority for House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) and drafted based on the findings of the House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Insurance Rates, which Rep. Reeves chaired during the 2025 interim.
