ATLANTA – State Representative Bill Hitchens (R-Rincon), Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, and Representative Dave Belton (R-Buckhead), Chairman of the House Military Affairs Working Group, today commended the Georgia House of Representatives for passing a number of military friendly House bills and resolutions during the 2017 legislative session. ATLANTA— State Representative Chuck Sims (R-Ambrose) recently announced his support for “Ava’s Law,” an autism insurance reform bill that will be taken up again in the upcoming 2014 legislative session. House Bill 309, otherwise known as “Ava’s Law,” was first introduced by Rep. Ben Harbin (R-Evans) in the 2013 legislative session.

Rep. Ben Harbin to Continue Push for Autism Insurance Reform Bill in 2014
ATLANTA— State Representative Ben Harbin (R-Evans) recently announced that he will continue to push for passage of “Ava’s Law,” an autism insurance reform bill, in the 2014 legislative session.
