Lt. Governor Casey Cagle and Speaker David Ralston have announced their respective appointments to the High School Athletics Overview Committee. The joint committee was created pursuant to Senate Bill 288, passed during the 2014 legislative session, and is tasked with regularly reviewing the operations of Georgia’s high school athletic association. Rep. Dale Rutledge Appointed to House Study Committee on For-Hire Transportation Services

ATLANTA – House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) announced the appointment of State Representative Dale Rutledge (R-McDonough) to the House Study Committee on For-Hire Transportation Services. The five-member committee will review emerging business models in for-hire transportation services and evaluate existing state law’s effectiveness for these types of businesses. Rep. Barbara Sims Named to Southern Legislative Conference Economic Development, Transportation & Cultural Affairs Committee
