HB 428, which would codify protections for in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Georgia, is a priority bill for House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) during the 2025 legislative session. This legislation, sponsored by State Representative Lehman Franklin (R-Statesboro), would ensure Georgians struggling with infertility will always have access to medical assistance through IVF.
