ATLANTA – The Joint Blue-Ribbon Committee to Investigate Licensing Issues, co-chaired by State Representative Matt Hatchett (R-Dublin) and State Senator Blake Tillery (R-Vidalia), will hold its next meeting on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Nessmith-Lane Continuing Education Center at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.

Rep. Hatchett Reappointed to House Rural Development Council for 2019-2020 Term

ATLANTA – State Representative Matt Hatchett (R- Dublin) was recently reappointed by Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) to serve on the House Rural Development Council for the 2019-2020 legislative term. This Council, which was reauthorized by House Resolution 214 during the 2019 legislative session, will continue to work with rural communities to find ways to encourage economic growth. House Republican Caucus Announces New Caucus Officers

ATLANTA – The House Republican Caucus met today and elected key leadership positions. The Majority Caucus elected State Representative Matt Ramsey (R-Peachtree City) as the House Majority Whip, State Representative Matt Hatchett (R-Dublin) as the new Chairman of the House Republican Caucus, and State Representative Sam Teasley (R-Marietta) as the new Vice-Chairman of the House Republican Caucus.
