Statement from House Speaker David Ralston Regarding the Passing of Rep. Tony Sellier

ATLANTA— House Speaker David Ralston (R-Blue Ridge) today issued the following statement regarding the passing of State Representative Tony Sellier (R-Fort Valley):

“Jane and I join this morning with each member of the Georgia House of Representatives in extending our prayers and love to the family of Rep. Tony Sellier. Today, we are hurting as we mourn the loss of Tony. He was one of the most decent and honorable individuals to serve the state of Georgia. The integrity and honor he brought to public service and the exceptional care he had for those he served will be a lasting tribute to his memory. Though we grieve at this time, we take comfort in the assurance that he rests with God, secure in the promise of eternal life.”
