Reps. David Knight, Karen Mathiak Highlight Spalding County Election Failures, Continue to Call for Local Elections Officials to Step Down

ATLANTA – State Representatives David Knight (R-Griffin) and Karen Mathiak (R-Griffin), who are members of the Spalding County Legislative Delegation, continue to push the investigation into the Spalding County Board of Elections (BOE) and the Spalding County elections supervisor to evaluate the handling of the Nov. 3 election in accordance with Georgia law and election rules and regulations. Knight and Mathiak wish to highlight the mismanagement and unlawful events that they believe to have occurred leading up to Nov. 3, as well as on Election Day and thereafter.

Reps. David Knight, Karen Mathiak to Hold Press Conference Tomorrow on Spalding County Election Failures

ATLANTA – State Representatives David Knight (R-Griffin) and Karen Mathiak (R-Griffin) will hold a press conference to address the Spalding County Board of Elections (BOE) and the Spalding County election supervisor’s handling of the Nov. 3 election TOMORROW, Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the South Wing Steps of the State Capitol.

Reps. David Knight, Karen Mathiak Call for Attorney General to Investigate Spalding County Board of Elections and Registration

ATLANTA – State Representatives David Knight (R-Griffin) and Karen Mathiak (R-Griffin), who are members of the Spalding County Legislative Delegation, today submitted a letter to Attorney General Christopher Carr to request an investigation into the official conduct of the Spalding County Board of Elections and Registration (Spalding County BOE).
