House Bill 933, Authored By Rep. Alex Atwood, Heads to Governor

ATLANTA— House Bill 933, introduced by State Representative Alex Atwood (R-Brunswick), received final passage on Thursday, March 20, 2014, and will now go to the Governor for consideration. HB 933 would make permanent an existing sales tax exemption for aviation parts used to repair and maintain out-of-state airplanes. Rep. Atwood Introduces Legislation to Reform SPLOST

ATLANTA – State Representative Alex Atwood (R-St. Simons) announced today the introduction of House Bill 814, a SPLOST reform bill that would increase public oversight of Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) funds and the voter approved projects those funds support.
