ATLANTA— State Representative Amy Carter (R-Valdosta) recently participated in the “Big Bodacious Bee,” an adult spelling bee benefiting Brooks County Family Connection and General Educational Development (GED) programs. Lt. Governor Casey Cagle and Speaker David Ralston have announced their respective appointments to the High School Athletics Overview Committee. The joint committee was created pursuant to Senate Bill 288, passed during the 2014 legislative session, and is tasked with regularly reviewing the operations of Georgia’s high school athletic association.
