Rep. Lindsey Makes Do Pass Motion for Senate Resolution 371, Calls for Constitutional Convention

ATLANTA— On Monday, February 17, State Representative Edward Lindsey (R-Atlanta) made a Do Pass motion in the House Judiciary Committee meeting to send Senate Resolution 371 to the House floor for a vote. SR 371 was then passed out of the Rules Committee on Wednesday, February 19 and is now scheduled for debate on the floor of the House Thursday, February 20. Rep. Lindsey Speaks in Favor of Safe Carry Protection Act

ATLANTA— State Representative Edward Lindsey (R-Atlanta) took to the well before the Georgia House of Representatives on Tuesday, February 18 and spoke in favor of House Bill 875, the Safe Carry Protection Act. HB 875 would primarily expand 2nd Amendment rights for current Georgia Weapons Carry license holders by increasing locations where those individuals can carry their weapons and emphasizing private property. Rep. Lindsey Calls for City of South Fulton to be Named After Martin Luther King, Jr.

ATLANTA— State Representative Edward Lindsey (R-Atlanta) today called for the proposed City of South Fulton to be named after Martin Luther King, Jr. House Bill 704, which was introduced during the 2014 legislative session, would incorporate the City of South Fulton within Fulton County.
