Reps. Gabe Okoye and Matt Reeves Applaud House Passage of Real Estate Fraud Protection Bill

ATLANTA – State Representatives Gabe Okoye (D-Lawrenceville) and Matt Reeves (R-Duluth) applaud the recent House passage of House Bill 1292, legislation that would combat real estate fraud by requiring identification to be provided when deeds are recorded by persons who are not licensed attorneys, financial institutions or realtors.

Rep. Gabe Okoye Sworn in, Receives Committee Assignments for the 2023-2024 Legislative Term

ATLANTA – State Representative Gabe Okoye (D-Lawrenceville) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 9, 2023, marking his first day of the 2023-2024 legislative term. Monday was the first day of the first term of the 157th Legislative Session of the Georgia General Assembly.
