Rep. Spencer Announces Release of FAA Spaceport Camden Environmental Impact Statement
ATLANTA – State Representative Jason Spencer (R-Woodbine) today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released Spaceport Camden’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) draft. FAA has been evaluating the environmental impacts of all proposed construction and operational activities at Spaceport Camden since fall 2015, and the recently released draft EIS includes potential environmental impacts associated with several factors, such as air quality, climate and natural resources. Rep. Spencer Announces ABL Space Systems to Establish Operations in Camden County
ATLANTA –State Representative Jason Spencer (R-Woodbine) today announced that ABL Space Systems, a satellite launch provider, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Camden County officials outlining how the provider will work with Spaceport Camden to test, manufacture, assemble and ultimately launch orbital vehicles in Camden County. House Passes Rep. Spencer’s Hidden Predator Act
ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives today unanimously passed House Bill 605, the Hidden Predator Act, sponsored by State Representative Jason Spencer (R-Woodbine), by a vote of 170-0. HB 605 is the latest update to the Hidden Predator Act and would provide provisions that would hold negligent or grossly negligent individuals or entities who conceal child abuse accountable. HB 605 is the latest update to the Hidden Predator Act and would provide provisions that would hold negligent or grossly negligent individuals or entities who conceal child abuse accountable.
