ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) and House Majority Leader Jon Burns (R-Newnington), State Representative Bill Hitchens (R-Rincon) and State Senator Jack Hill (R-Reidsville) recently announced that the Mars Theatre was selected as a Vibrant Communities Grant recipient. ATLANTA – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) and House Majority Leader Jon Burns (R-Newington) today announced that East Georgia Healthcare Center (EGHC) has secured property in Sylvania to build a new primary care clinic. ATLANTA – House Majority Leader Jon Burns (R-Newington) today announced that House Bill 62, or “Margie’s Law,” was signed by Governor Brian Kemp on Thursday, May 2, 2019. HB 62 will require health care facilities that conduct mammogram screenings to notify a patient if they are found to have dense breast tissue.
