Rep. Kasey Carpenter’s Legislation to Expand Eligibility for Private School Tuition Scholarships Signed into Law by Governor Kemp

ATLANTA – State Representative Kasey Carpenter (R-Dalton), chairman of the House Creative Arts and Entertainment Committee, today announces that House Bill 328, legislation he sponsored to expand eligibility and adjust scholarship funding requirements under Georgia’s student scholarship organization (SSO) program for private school tuition scholarships, has been signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp.

Lt. Governor Jones and Speaker Burns Announce Appointees to Review Georgia’s Tax Credits

ATLANTA – Today, Lt. Governor Burt Jones and Speaker of the House Jon Burns announce their respective appointees who will work on behalf of the Georgia General Assembly to review all Georgia tax credits, including Georgia’s film tax credit. Announced last month, this review is intended to support Georgia businesses while ensuring a significant return on investment for Georgia’s taxpayers.
