Rep. Waites Participates in Harvard Kennedy School Leadership Training
ATLANTA— State Representative Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta) recently participated in the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She was one of three fellows for the June 2014 class where she completed a three week program designed to improve skills and further the leadership potential of accomplished individuals from across the United States. Rep. Waites to Propose Legislation for Owners of Dangerous Dogs
ATLANTA — State Representative Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta) announced today that she will introduce legislation in the 2014 Legislative Session that will require pet owners that have dogs with a history of aggressive and violent behavior to register for a special permits to own the dog. The legislation will also include other requirements such as mandatory obedient classes in a hope to curb aggressive behavior that can lead to deadly attacks. Continue reading “Rep.
