ATLANTA – State Representative James Beverly (D-Macon), chairman of the House Minority Caucus, along with several state legislators of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus (GHDC) COVID-19 Subcommittee, recently drafted an independent Fiscal Year 2021 budget proposal in response to COVID-19. Rep. Schofield Introduces Legislation to Prohibit Discrimination Based on Hair Style and Texture

Clayton County Legislators Announce Grant Funding for Arts Clayton, Inc.

ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA), along with State Representatives Rhonda Burnough (D-Riverdale), Mike Glanton (D-Jonesboro), Kim Schofield (D-Atlanta), Sandra Scott (D-Rex) and Valencia Stovall (D-Forest Park), recently announced that Arts Clayton, Inc. was selected as a Cultural Facilities Grant recipient.
