ATLANTA – State Representative Lehman Franklin (R-Statesboro) today announces that he will open a new constituent services office in Statesboro to serve the citizens of House District 160. Rep. Franklin’s constituent services office will officially open on Monday, June 3, 2024, and will be located at 127 N Main Street, Statesboro, GA.

Rep. Lehman Franklin Introduces Legislation Proposing Tax Exemptions for Affordable Housing Building Materials

Rep. Lehman Franklin Co-Sponsors Legislation Prohibiting Political Subdivisions from Imposing Various Taxes for Educational Purposes

ATLANTA – State Representative Lehman Franklin (R-Statesboro) recently co-sponsored House Bill 1000 to prohibit political subdivisions from imposing various taxes, placing ceilings on local sales taxes and taxing the use of mobile telecommunications.

Rep. Lehman Franklin’s Legislation Signed Into Law by Governor Brian Kemp

ATLANTA – State Representative Lehman Franklin (R-Statesboro) today announced that Governor Brian Kemp signed House bills 302 and 480 into law on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. During his first legislative session in office, Rep. Franklin championed these two bills to bolster law enforcement’s response to stalking cases, as well as provide financial security to families affected by work-related injuries or fatalities.
