ATLANTA – State Representative Regina Lewis-Ward (D-McDonough) announced that her scholarly article, entitled “The Role of Technology in Advancing Racial Justice,” was recently published in the Spring 2026, Volume 3 edition of the Chicago Black Policy Review. The Chicago Black Policy Review is a publication of the University of Chicago dedicated to advancing research and policy solutions that impact Black communities, and Rep. Lewis-Ward notes that her article explores the role technology can play in promoting racial equity, while also examining the challenges that can arise when innovation outpaces thoughtful public policy.
