ATLANTA – State Representative Keisha Waites (D-Atlanta) announced today that the District 60 Regional Job Fair will now be held on Friday, June 15th, rather than Friday, May 11, as was previously announced. This change in date is due to the overwhelming response Rep. Waites has received from employer wanting to participate as venders at the job fair.
The job fair will still run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Atlanta Metropolitan College, located at 1630 Metropolitan Pkwy SW, Atlanta, Georgia.
The event is designed to connect the region’s most prosperous businesses and corporations with the most talented job candidates across House District 60, which includes areas of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, as well as the cities of Atlanta, Hapeville, Forest Park, East Point and College Park.
For more information about the District 60 Regional Job Fair, please contact the office of Rep. Waites at (404) 656-0220 or via email at keisha.waites@house.ga.gov.
