ATLANTA – Yesterday, the Georgia House of Representatives adopted HR 4EX, a House Resolution condemning Hamas terrorism and expressing support for the Jewish people.
HR 4EX was introduced by Representative Brent Cox (R-Dawsonville) and Representative Esther Panitch (D-Sandy Springs).
After the bipartisan adoption of HR 4EX, Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington) said:
“The People’s House joined together in support of our friends and allies in Israel as they fight against the Hamas regime,” said Speaker Burns. “Israel stood with the United States after the attacks of 9/11, and I am proud that the Georgia House strongly conveyed that we are standing with our allies in Israel.”
HR 4EX passed the House on December 4, 2023, by a vote of 129-2 and can be found here.
