House Adopts Rep. Brent Cox’s House Resolution Condemning Hamas Terrorism

ATLANTA – State Representative Brent Cox (R-Dawsonville) today announced that the Georgia House of Representatives recently adopted House Resolution 4EX on Monday, December 4, 2023, condemning Hamas terrorism and expressing support for the Jewish people. Rep. Cox sponsored HR 4EX, and Representatives Esther Panitch (D-Sandy Springs), John Carson (R-Marietta), Chuck Efstration (R-Auburn), Lauren McDonald (R-Cumming) and Mitchell Horner (R-Ringgold) were co-sponsors of the resolution.

“There’s an enemy that comes to kill, still and destroy, and, in this situation, that enemy happens to be Hamas,” said Rep. Cox. “The goal of Hamas is to eradicate the State of Israel, the Jewish people, the United States of America and all that support these causes. I was proud to sponsor this resolution to condemn Hamas, and I am grateful to the other co-sponsors for helping ensure that the Georgia House of Representatives adopted this important resolution. We stand with Israel and the Jewish people.”
