The GFB Commodity Award is given to individuals who have supported and promoted Georgia agriculture, and award recipients are selected by the GFB Board of Directors from nominees submitted by the organization’s commodity advisory committees.

ATLANTA – State Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta), chairman of the House Higher Education Committee, today announces the creation of the House Higher Education Subcommittee on College Admissions Testing Standards, which will convene meetings ahead of the 2027 legislative session. Chairman Martin has charged the subcommittee with evaluating the Classic Learning Test (CLT) and determining whether a valid concordance exists, or can be established, between CLT scores and scores on the SAT and ACT.
