ATLANTA – State Representative Victor Anderson (R-Cornelia) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 11, 2021, which was the first day of the 2021-2022 legislative term. In addition to being officially sworn in, the Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named Rep. Anderson to the Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications, Governmental Affairs and State Planning & Community Affairs committees.

ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Shaw Blackmon (R-Bonaire) as the Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee. Rep. Blackmon will also serve as a member on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Special Committee on Election Integrity, Economic Development & Tourism, Governmental Affairs, Insurance, Juvenile Justice, Rules, Special Rules and Small Business Development committees. ATLANTA – The Georgia House of Representatives’ Committee on Assignments named State Representative Todd Jones (R-South Forsyth) as the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Education.
